Team Name: Beers Rugby Football Club

Founded: 1975
History: The story goes that back in the days when Kazumi Maeda was still a student at Waseda University, a bunch of mates came up with the idea to form a rugby club team over a couple of beers.

Team Members: We have team members from all ages ranging from students up to those nearing 60, and all levels of rugby experience ranging from university rugby team representatives to beginners.
Joined Shuto: 1976
Jersey: 1st Team: Dark Green, 2nd Team: Navy and Green lines on an Orange base.
Training: Shinozaki Kouenmae Edogawa Riverside 20 minutes from Shinozaki Station on the Toei Shinjuku Line.
Philosophy: I suppose that our team philosophy is to respect each of the characters of members within the team.
Team Goal: In the Tokyo Club Tournament last year, we made it as far as a promotion match to enter the First Division but failed to go through and remain a Second Division team. Through the Capital RFU (Shuto League), we want to enjoy rugby and getting to know other teams through the opportunities provided by such competitions as the Summer Sevens Tournament and the Autumn League.
